Swire Shipping Fijian Drua player, Angelo Smith is no longer part of the team, and coach, Glen Jackson has said the decision is based on values.

Jackson made these comments to the media this morning following Smith’s absence from recent main training sessions.

He says the move followed internal discussions within the squad, with the club deciding to part ways with the player.

Meanwhile, the Drua continue to prepare for their upcoming fixtures, with the focus now on maintaining team cohesion and performance standards.

The team list will be released this afternoon.

The Drua play the Blues this Saturday at 6.05pm in Auckland.

In other games, Moana Pasifika host the Highlanders at 6.05pm Friday, the Brumbies will meet the Waratahs at 8.35pm.

On Saturday, the Hurricanes will face the Reds at 3.35pm, while the Force play the Chiefs at 8.35pm.
