Grammar defeat Marist in the Southern Zone

Ratu Kadavulevu School Under 18 rugby team edged Queen Victoria School 9-8 with a last minute penalty from flyhalf Meli Wara in the Eastern Zone Deans competition this afternoon.

QVS was leading 8-6 before RKS was awarded the penalty in the last minute.

In the Southern Zone U-18 competition, Suva Grammar School defeated Marist Brothers High School 14-8 while Dudley High School defeated Nabua Secondary School 38-15.

In other results from this morning, MBHS defeated SGS 15-13 in the U-15 grade while MBHS thrashed Marist Champagnat Institute 48-3 in the U-16 grade.

Meanwhile, in the Raluve Eastern Zone competition, Bau Secondary School thrashed Vunimono High School 22-0 while Levuka Public School beat Wainibuka Secondary School 10-5.
