Quinlan knocks out Naliva to win Fiji’s light heavyweight title

Former IBO Super Middleweight champion, Renold Quinlan knocked out Savenaca Naliva to win Fiji's light heavyweight title in the South Pacific Boxing Promotion at Prince Charles Park last night.

Australia based Quinlan who is of Fijian descent stopped Naliva in the third round.

In other fights, Siliveni Nawai beat Abhay Chand in unanimous points decision in the super middleweight title fight, Jese Ravudi defeated Donasio Moqudru to win the middleweight contest, Puna Rasaubale knocked Esira Natotomu in the third round to win the heavyweight belt, Filimoni Naliva Jnr stopped Epenere Goneva in the third round to win the cruiserweight title, Robin Hazelman beat Sireli Navua in the middleweight contest while Fredrick Chand defeated Josaia Mocenanuma in another middleweight contest.
