Tailevu Zone blue ribbon champion, Senirusi Rauqe of Queen Victoria School has the best manual time from the zone meets, with a time of 10.70 seconds.

He will be challenged by Suva Grammar School sprinter Semesa Caginivalu who clocked the second fastest manual time of 10.90 seconds in the Suva Zone 2 competition.

Caginivalu has also indicated that he will need to work hard to improve on his time at the Coca-Cola Games.

Also vying for the blue ribbon title this year is Holy Cross College athlete Mariselo Moceituba after running a time of 11.06 seconds during the Taveuni Zone.

MGM High School's Penaia Ramasirai also made his mark after claiming gold at the Suva Zone 1 with a time of 11.50 seconds.
