Ram Naumi brings message of unity and faith from Tabia Ganesh Mandir

Devotees gathered at the Tabia Ganesh Mandir in the Northern Division today to mark the final day of Ram Naumi, with prayers, bhajans and celebrations highlighting the importance of unity and faith.

Speaking during the celebrations, Pandit Mukesh Prasad Bhardawaj extended his wishes to all devotees in Fiji and around the world observing Ram Naumi.

He says the true purpose of Ram Naumi is to bring people together and remind everyone to follow the path of Lord Ram, which is based on truth, discipline and righteousness.

He also shares a message of peace, saying that people should live together with love and understanding, as this makes life easier and strengthens communities.

The celebrations at the temple began with morning prayers, followed by Ram Janam Maha-otsav and Ram Jhoola.

Devotees also took part in Aarti, Prasad distribution and Mahaprasad, along with bhajans and kirtan throughout the day.

Bhardawaj says occasions like Ram Navami are not only about celebration, but also about reflecting on values that promote harmony, respect and togetherness in society.
