Constable Racagi's alleged murderers granted bail
42-year-old Keni Salawai and 20-year-old Jope Seniloli, who are charged with the alleged murder of 24-year-old Police Constable Peniasi Racagi in Lami, have been granted bail by the Suva High Court.

Salawai and Seniloli appeared before Suva High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar this morning. 

Prosecution did not object to bail.

The two have been bailed with strict conditions, two sureties and $1,000 bond each.

Salawai will have to report to the Lami Police Station every Saturday between 6am to 6pm, while Seniloli will have to report to the Valelevu Police Station every Saturday between 6am to 6pm.

The two have also been told not to change their addresses without informing the court, not to interfere with witnesses and to release their travel documents.

The case has been adjourned to the 8th of May for plea.
