Fijian Drua Blue win Sun Bell Drua 10s competition after 14-5 win over Fijian Drua Green

Fijian Drua Blue has been crowned the Sun Bell Drua 10s champion after defeating Fijian Drua Green 14-5 in the grand final this afternoon.

The Fijian Drua Blue side, led by Vilive Miramira and Mesake Doge, did not have an easy road to the final after a close 7-0 win over Malolo Rugby in the semi final.

Fijian Drua Green was also put to the wire in the semi final as they managed to secure a 12-7 win over Nadroga Rugby.

In round 1, Drua Blue defeated Yasawa Rugby 19-90, Nadroga Rugby edged Lautoka Rugby 12-5, Fijian Drua Green defeated Malolo Rugby 19-0 and Ba Rugby beat Nadi Rugby 17-0.

In round 2, Lautoka Rugby beat Yasawa 19-7, Drua Blue 5 edged Nadroga Rugby 5-0, Malolo Rugby beat Ba Rugby 12-0 and Nadi Rugby defeated Drua Green 5-0.

In the final round, Drua Blue defeated Lautoka Rugby 29-0, Nadroga defeated Yasawa 22-0, Drua Green thumped Ba Rugby 36-0 and Malolo Rugby held Nadi Rugby to a 12-all draw.

Meanwhile Drua Women 1 beat Drua Women 2 15-10 in the second game of the 2 rounds competition.
