Chiefs beat Crusaders 34-24 to continue winning streak

The Chiefs continued its winning run at the 2023 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition after beating the Crusaders 34-24 in Hamilton last night.

Fly-half Damien McKenzie showed his class scoring 19 points off his boots as the Chiefs shrugged off a tough challenge from the Crusaders.

The much-anticipated match lived up to the expectations of the fans with the Chiefs heading into half-time leading 12-7.

Emoni Narawa started for the Chiefs and played an instrumental role with some outstanding runs and great defence.

Pita Gus-Sowakula came off the bench for the Chiefs in the second spell.

In other matches last night, the Rebels survived a scare from Moana Pasifika winning 43-33 while the Reds beat the Western Force 31-17.
