Tri-Nations is a good concept and a good build up for RLWC - Meninga

Australian Kangaroos coach Mal Meninga believes the Tri-Nations is a good concept and a good build up for the Rugby League World Cup.

This is the first time the defending champions of the Rugby League World Cup are in Fiji.

Meninga believes the Vodafone Fiji Bati and the PNG Kumuls will be tough opposition tomorrow.

Meninga adds that the loss of Johnathan Thurston through injury gives the other players such as Michael Morgan, James Maloney and Cameron Munster an opportunity to perform.

Meanwhile, the Australian Kangaroos players will be at the ANZ Stadium at 5pm today for their open fan day.
