New Zealand claim men and women's title at Cape Town 7s

It was a double victory for New Zealand in the Cape Town 7s.

The All Blacks 7s team beat South Africa 7-5 in the Cup final.

Both teams were locked nil-all at half time.

New Zealand and South Africa top the HSBC World 7s Series standings with 41 points each.

The New Zealand Women’s 7s team won the first ever Women’s Cape Town 7s beating Australia 17-7 in the final.

After three rounds, the Blacks Ferns extend their lead on the HSBC Women’s 7s World Series points table.

They now lead with 56 points while Australia is in second place with 50 points and USA is third with 48 points.
