A last minute penalty from Zibraaz Sahib gave Lautoka a 1-0 win over Nadi to top Pool A and face Rewa in the first semifinal of the Courts IDC at Churchill Park.

Both teams were locked nil‑all till the final minute when Lautoka striker Valerio Nawatu was brought down inside the penalty box as Sahib did not make any mistake from the penalty spot.

The win has earned Lautoka top spot in Group A to qualify for the semifinals with Suva going through as runners‑up after beating Tavua 3‑1.

A new winner will be crowned in the Courts IDC after defending champions Labasa were held 1‑1 by Rewa.

Former Labasa player and son of Simon ‘Maradona’ Peters, Misaele Draunibaka equalised for Rewa in the 43rd minute of the second half to earn Rewa a semifinal spot.

Rewa just needed a draw to qualify for the semifinals while the northerners were in a must‑win situation.

The Delta Tigers have qualified as runners‑up from Group B with Ba going through as group winners after holding Dreketi 2‑2.

The semifinals will take place on Saturday with Lautoka taking on Rewa at 3pm and Ba facing Suva at 5pm.

You can catch the live commentaries of both the semifinals on Radio Sargam.

In the senior division, Navua will face Savusavu at 11am in the first semifinal while Nadroga will take on Tailevu Naitasiri at 1pm in the second semifinal.
