Search ends as body of missing diver recovered in Ba river

The body of the man who went missing while diving for freshwater mussels in the Ba River on Saturday, has been recovered.

The Fiji Police Force says a joint search efforts between Police and members of the public led to the recovery of the victim’s body near Wavuwavu yesterday.

Police say the victim’s body was conveyed to the Lautoka Aspen Hospital mortuary, awaiting a postmortem examination.

Investigations continue.
