Mike Tyson can’t wait to get his hands on Floyd Mayweather.

Although it was announced in September that an exhibition between the pair of boxing legends would take place, not many details were revealed. But, according to Tyson, things have been ironed out.

In an interview Tyson says it is going to be in in Africa in March next year.

He says it is going to be incredible as they are going to break all the records.

The heavyweight legend says it is going to be one of the biggest events in the history of the sport.

It is unclear if their meeting will take place at a catchweight, being that Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs) made his mark as a heavyweight champion, while Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) captured titles in five weight classes from junior lightweight to junior middleweight.

In Mayweather’s case, he’s grown accustomed to the exhibition world.

Since retiring in 2017, following a knockout win over Conor McGregor, the 2022 Hall of Famer has participated in several, including against the likes of Logan Paul, John Gotti III, Tenshin Nasukawa.

As revealed by The Ring, the 48-year-old has also recently flirted with the idea of making a return to take on Manny Pacquiao, albeit in a real fight.

As for Tyson, he ended a near 20-year retirement on November 15, 2024, to take on YouTuber turned cruiserweight contender, Jake Paul. Tyson, 58 at the time, lost a lopsided decision.
