Fijians from all walks of life are being reminded of their shared responsibility on the roads as the Land Transport Authority (LTA) continues its nationwide public and community awareness initiatives.
Through its Road Safety Education and Enforcement teams, the LTA is actively visiting both rural and urban communities, delivering Defensive Driving Courses and engaging directly with households, businesses, schools, universities and other stakeholders.
The LTA says these efforts aim to educate the public on their responsibilities as drivers, pedestrians and passengers.
This week, the LTA team also participated in the Pasifika Communities University Open Day, providing essential services and engaging with road users as part of ongoing stakeholder outreach to promote safe and responsible road use.
The Authority is urging all road users to remain vigilant, exercise caution and strictly adhere to traffic regulations and road safety measures at all times.
