Several roads and crossings in the Western Division are currently flooded and inaccessible following recent heavy rain.
The affected areas include parts of Tavua, Rakiraki and surrounding districts, where rising water levels have cut off access to a number of key routes.
In Tavua, Yaladro Road is accessible only to 4x4 vehicles, while Kings Road at Vitogo is experiencing surface flooding but remains open to all traffic with caution.
However, Kings Road near Tavualevu Bridge and Yaladro Junction is currently restricted to 4x4 vehicles only.
Other roads and crossings in Tavua reported as flooded include Nabuna Road, Vatia Wharf Road at Crossing #2, Qalela Road at Crossing #1, Matacawa Road at Crossing #1, and Lubulubu Road at Crossing #1.
Katudrau Road, Waimari Road and Korotale Road have also been affected.
In Rakiraki, flooding has impacted Rakiraki Town and Naqoro Flat, further disrupting movement in the area.
The Fiji Roads Authority say drivers and road users are strongly advised to avoid flooded crossings and to assess conditions carefully before attempting to travel through affected routes.
