The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s extended squad is currently training at Albert Park in Suva as they continue preparations for the upcoming Singapore 7s, where they are also the defending champions.
Led by Coach Osea Kolinisau, the team is focusing on set pieces and other important areas of their game with a focus on building combinations and improving overall performance.
The extended squad is made up of new and experienced players like nippy halfbacks Terio Tamani and Waisea Nacuqu, towering forward Josefa Talacolo, Ioane Teba, Josese Batirerega, George Bose, Sakiusa Siqila, Manueli Maisamoa and Malolo fullback Douglas Daveta.
Some of the players in the extended squad will be playing as the National side next week while others will join the Mike Friday Select 7s team for the McDonald's Fiji Coral Coral Coast 7s which kicks off next Thursday.
Kolinisau will then most probably pick his travelling team from there to take to the Singapore 7s which will be held from January 31 to February 1.
