A fallen tree has caused a partial blockage on Queen's Highway past Melrose Bridge near Nayawa Junction in Sigatoka, disrupting traffic movement in the area.

The Fiji Roads says obstruction was caused after a large tree broke and fell onto the road, forcing drivers to slow down while passing through the affected section.

FRA team is currently on site working to remove the fallen tree and clear the road as quickly as possible.

Drivers travelling along the route are advised to expect delays as clearance work continues.
