The Yat Sen Secondary School Under 17 Basketball Team 1 have continued their winning streak after defeating Gospel High School 19-7 this afternoon.

Yat Sen Team 1 had earlier defeated Yat Sen Team 2 21-13, outclassed International School Suva 18-8, beat Ratu Kadavulevu School 20-14, thrashed Suva Grammar School 41-9 and survived a tough encounter against their neighbours Marist 14-11 yesterday.

Yat Sen Team 1 captain Osea Baraki says they need to improve on their discipline on and off the court and are looking forward to securing a spot in the semi finals.

Looking at results, the Marist Under 15 team got thrashed by Yat Sen Secondary 43-8 in their first game, they also lost to Ratu Kadavulevu School 12-8 in their second game while International School Suva edged Suva Grammar School 20-11, International then drew 17-all with Yat Sen Secondary in their second game.

In the Under 15 girls, Grammar dominated Yat Sen Secondary with a convincing 14-8 win.

In the Under 17 boys, Marist beat Grammar 22-5, Yat Sen 2 beat ISS 7-4, Marist beat RKS 14-7, RKS beat Grammar 11-5 while Gospel beat Grammar 15-6.

In the Under 19, Marist won by default over Gospel.
