Yasawa North Secondary School are heading into tomorrow’s Coca-Cola Games with one thing in mind and that is to win medals to take back to Yasawa despite the challenge of having to seek assistance for the athletes’ track shoes.

The athletes are not only faced with a huge challenge of obtaining positive results at the meet, they are also trying to get assistance for the athletes’ track shoes before the Games starts tomorrow.

Coach Tuvilu Maka says this is an experience of a lifetime for their athletes as most of them are setting foot into Suva for the first time ever.

With seven athletes qualifying from the school for the first time, the athletes are excited and are looking forward to creating history at the HFC Bank Stadium.

If you wish to donate towards the purchase of the athletes’ track shoes, please contact Master Maka on 8499193.
