Yalovata 7s: Village Boys looking good to defend U21 title

Defending Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s U21 champion, Village Boys, are looking good to retain their title this year after securing 3 wins from 3 pool matches.

Village Boys defeated Tomuni Brothers 12-5 in their first pool match, they then beat Nayavu Young Brothers 12-5 in their second match before beating Duiyasana 10-5 in their final pool match.

The clean sweep in the pool play has seen them secure their place in the knockout stage which will kick off this afternoon.

Meanwhile, in other U21 results this morning, Seventy By Seven2 beat Matanabani 12-0, Nayavu Young Boys defeated Tomuna Brothers 14-7, Bureta Young Boys beat Yalovata 17-10 and Radisson Naduruniu beat Gumatua 10-0.

The Yalovata 7s is currently underway at Nasau Park, Ovalau.
