The Yat Sen Secondary School boys under 19 basketball side started their Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball National Championship campaign on a high note after beating Marist Brothers High School (2) 44-2 this morning.

During an interview with fijivillage News after the game, YSS Captain Joshua Romanu says they are taking everything slowly and playing one game at a time.

YSS will take on Lautoka Muslim College at 2.20pm this afternoon at the Lautoka Multipurpose Court 2.

Meanwhile, in other results this morning, in the U19 boys division, Suva Grammar School defeated Lautoka Muslim College 36-10, Fiji Agape Mission School lost to John Wesley College 29-12, Marist 1 defeated Queen Victoria School 25-13, Latter Day Saints beat Ratu Kadavulevu School 17-6 and Swami Vivekananda College thumped Tilak High School 38-5.
