A routine check-up revealed serious heart blockages, and timely intervention at PSH Hospitals helped Filimone Tarai make a full recovery.

Filimone Tarai, a 42-year-old, visited PSH Hospitals for what he thought was a normal check-up, only to discover he had multiple heart blockages in his heart. Thanks to the expertise and dedication of the PSH Hospitals cardiac team, he received prompt treatment and is now on the path to a healthy recovery.

‘’I didn’t feel any symptoms at first, and it was shocking to learn about the blockages. Seeing the angiogram made it real. I knew immediate action was necessary ,’’ Filimone said.

During the procedure, Filimone admitted to feeling panicked at times, but the support and reassurance from the doctors, nurses and his family kept him calm.

‘’It wasn’t just the surgery itself; it was how the team reassured me throughout the process. Their encouragement gave me strength,’’ he said.

PSH Hospitals cardiac team said;

‘’Filimone was in a serious condition, and timely intervention was crucial. Our team ensures patients are reassured and supported at every step, which is as important as the surgery itself’’.
