The 27-year-old woman who allegedly caused the death of a 5-year-old girl in a motor vehicle accident in Ba on Monday morning has been charged and will appear in the Ba Magistrates Court today.
The woman is charged with one count of dangerous driving and one count of dangerous driving occasioning death.
Police say the girl was walking in front of her mother when she allegedly ran across the road and was hit by an oncoming vehicle driven by a woman from Rarawai, Ba.
