A woman has raised concerns during the budget consultation in Navua last night that the river in Wainadoi gets flooded very easily which makes it very hard for the children to cross.

She says when their children return from school, they have to wait on the other side until the waters recede.

The woman says about 9 families are affected because of this.

Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has told the woman to give the details to their team and they will ask the respective people to look into it.

Meanwhile Zarina Reece who was also present at the consultation says she is tired of people asking what the FijiFirst Government has done for the people.

Reece says if people read, open their eyes and look around, they will know what this Government has done even during 2 waves of the COVID-19 crisis.

She says the Government did not stop doing all the things that it was doing for the people.
