The Weekly Home Study Packages for students from Years 1 to 13 is now available.

The Ministry of Education says these packages are only available for parents and guardians who are unable to access it online and can only collect printouts from the respective schools if prior arrangements have been made with school heads and teachers.

They say those who are able to access it online should continue with this arrangement.

These packages will be available on a weekly basis and parents are being urged to encourage children to attempt the activity sheets.

The Ministry says teachers who do not have resources such as internet, computers, textbooks or printers may access school-based resources to prepare the packages for their students.

They say teachers who have resources available at home should continue to work from home and disseminate materials to their student clusters.

Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar is reminding all school heads and teachers to follow the directives of the Ministry and work in line with Circular 27 to continue assisting students during the school closure.

The Circular stipulates that all COVID-19 Safety Protocols must be in place during the preparation and collection of materials.
