As the Fiji Water Flying Fijians turn their focus now to their 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter final match against England Next week, kicking coach Seremaia Bai says they will tighten up where they need to tighten up before this big match ahead of them.

Bai says they were pretty gutted about the result against Portugal yesterday but at the same time they had a goal in mind and that was to make it to the quarter-finals and they are looking forward to this coming week.

He says going into this quarter final, it gives them great confidence knowing that they have beaten England, but the most important thing in a playoff is that anything can happen so they have to regroup, re-focus and they will have to prepare well for this resilient English side.

He adds this match reminds him of the 2007 RWC where everybody wrote England off but they reached the managed to final.

Bai says England has shown how good they are, with players who have played on the big stage and Fiji respects that and takes it on board.

He says now they need to see how they can come back and do well in this quarter-final.

The Flying Fijians will take on England in the third quarter final at 3am next Monday in Marseille.

In other RWC quarter finals, Wales will play Argentina at 3am Sunday, Ireland will take on the All Blacks at 7am on Sunday and hosts France will play South Africa at 7am next Monday.
