We will play today’s game like it is our last as we don’t want to let our fans down.

These were the words of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain Ratu Meli Derenalagi as the team looks forward to their do-or-die match against the Queensland Reds at the HFC Bank Stadium.

Derenalagi says the boys know the challenge ahead of them is not going to be easy and they are looking forward to playing their last home match of the season in Suva.

He further says the weather is unpredictable at this point but that won’t stop them from playing their hearts out in front of their home fans.

Derenalagi says the boys will be looking to work on themselves first and what they could do to help them score points.

The Fijian Drua will now need a win against the Reds today to book themselves a place in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition playoffs this year and create history by being the first team to achieve this feat in just its second year in the competition.

The Fijian Drua will take on the Reds at 4.35pm today and the gates will open at 1.35pm.
