Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar

As the nation continues to endure the socio-economic challenges of the coronavirus, we remain steadfast in the faith knowing that the goodness and faithfulness of the Almighty will prevail and take us through these difficult times.

These are the words of Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday.

She says promoting peace among humankind, honouring and respecting the rights of all, and being compassionate to the poor, needy and the sick are a few of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad that all Muslims seek to exemplify in their lifetimes.

Akbar says in all circumstances, however trying, they are honouring the teachings of the Prophet with a renewed sense of purpose and faith.

The Minister says they pray for the strength of the nation and the health of the people.

She has also extended her best wishes for a blessed and safe celebration to all Fijians.
