Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew

We must always follow the law instead of just enforcing it.

These were the words of the Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew during his tour of the Western Division policing districts, where he reminded the officers to watch out for the change of their uniforms from blue to orange.

Chew says it is very sad to see cases of police officers involved in drugs which shows that the police officers are corrupted.

He says in doing all this the police force never suffers because they continue to move forward however, the families suffer.

The Acting Commissioner says officers must look at the face of their spouse, their kids, their commitment and think twice before doing something as one day they will be caught.

He says the officers career in the organisation is a big question mark whether they want to be a police officer or a criminal.

Chew also encourages the officers to always be careful and ask their seniors if they don’t know anything rather than doing something wrong that affects them, their families and the organisation.

The Acting Commissioner adds despite the negativity the police will continue to do their part.
