We are looking at 344 unvaccinated teachers who will be terminated – Kumar

Education Minister Premila Kumar says in total they are looking at 344 teachers who will be terminated under the no jab, no job policy.

She says 130 teachers have been terminated under the no jab, no job policy so far.

Kumar revealed that 64 teachers will be given termination letters this week as they have confirmed in writing they will not get vaccinated.

The Education Minister says another 150 teachers have requested time to get a vaccination exemption certificate from the Health Ministry.

She confirms that 7,622 teachers are fully vaccinated and 5,110 have had their first jab.
