Swire Shipping Fijian Drua Men’s coach Mick Byrne has stated that they are fitter than where they were last year.

Byrne highlighted this when questioned on the team’s fitness levels ahead of their round 5 game in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific this weekend.

He says their fitness levels are good as they outscored the Blues in the second half, outscored Moana Pasifika, kept the Crusaders to zero in the second half and their last twenty minutes against the Chiefs was pretty good.

The Drua coach says the Chiefs game is probably the highest numbers they have had in the last 10 matches.

The Drua Men’s team play the Waratahs at 1.05pm Saturday at Churchill Park before the Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s meet the Waratahs at 3.35pm.

In other games, the Hurricanes host the Rebels at 6.05pm tomorrow, the Brumbies meet Moana Pasifika at 8.35pm tomorrow while on Saturday the Chiefs play the Highlanders at 3.35pm, and the Force meet the Reds at 8.35pm Saturday.
