Waqainabete signs with San Diego Legion

Naitasiri robust centre Filimoni Waqainabete has signed with the San Diego Legion for the 2023 Major League Rugby in the USA.

Waqainabete was one of the key players for Naitasiri in the 2022 Skipper Cup.

The former Canterbury and Wild Knights centre says that he is grateful for the opportunity to play for the Legion in 2023 and is excited to call San Diego home for the next few seasons.

He will link up with former All Black Ma'a Nonu who has signed for another season with the Legion.
