Fiji Water Flying Fijians winger Jiuta Wainiqolo will be one of the players who will be providing the threat for the Scotland defence in Suva this weekend after an amazing performance against the Wallabies yesterday.
Wainiqolo showed glimpses of his pace and strength from the backfield and bravely decided to take on the defence.
The 26-year-old also assisted in two of Fiji’s tries, the most impressive one was when he picked up a loose ball from his own half and ran through several Wallabies defenders before offloading to flanker Lekima Tagitagivalu, who scored in the corner.
During the match, Wainiqolo ran a total of 113 metres in 9 carries, beating 6 defenders and making 1 clean line break.
Meanwhile, former All Blacks 7s rep Salesi Rayasi was also impressive at fullback on his debut against the Wallabies and even scored a try at the stroke of halftime.
The Flying Fijians are back in the country and will be hosting Scotland at 3pm this Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
