Navosa will feature in the Skipper Cup 2026 competition following their 34-26 win over Rewa in their Vodafone Vanua Trophy Championship semi final this afternoon.

Speaking to fijivillage Sports, Coach David Dakuitoga says he reminded the players during halftime that even though they received a red card, they need to continue believing in themselves.

Dakuitoga says they needed to continue to deliver their best game and come out with the win.

He says their players were selected from the district games, and they have utilised the skills and talents of the youths from the villages to represent their Vanua in the competition.

The coach also acknowledged the Navosa supporters who turned out in numbers to cheer for the team.
