Former French international Virimi Vakatawa is expected to don the Naitasiri jersey on Saturday, representing his Vanua when they face Suva in round 8 of the Skipper Cup, and the last challenge for the Inkk Farebrother Trophy.
Speaking to fijivillage Sports, team manager Penaia Naqase says after the game against Vatukoula last week, Vakatawa sought permission from the team to play for Naitasiri one last time.
Naqase says the team is very happy that Vakatawa offered to play for his Vanua in the Skipper Cup and Farebrother challenge.
He says Vakatawa will play at either inside or outside centre.
Naqase says Vakatawa is one of the unseen supporters of the Naitasiri team as he always looks out for them whenever he is needed.
He is also urging supporters to come out in numbers and cheer the team as it will boost the players. 2nd placed and Farebrother Cup holder, Naitasiri hosts 1st placed Suva at 3pm Saturday at the Naitasiri Secondary School ground.
