Year 10 student of Andra College in Sigatoka, Vaciseva Bulou who had just lost her father due to sickness, was amongst the 25 winners announced for the Back-to-School promotion by Post Fiji in the $200 category.

Bulou and her mum managed to save some money to buy some school books when school started this year.

The 25 Post-shopping vouchers are in three categories; $100, $200, and $300; totalling $4,500.

Post Fiji Chief Executive Officer Anirudha Bansod says students and parents made use of the opportunity.

He says despite the challenges faced during the COVID pandemic and the Russian war, Post Fiji continues to support schools and universities with the promotion and strategy of not increasing the prices of their items.

The CEO says the war has an impact on the prices of shipping, and other retailers have increased the prices of their items while Post Fiji stands with their strategy.

He adds students and parents made use of the opportunity and visited the various Post shops to do their shopping and it was a relief to have the opinion that the Post COVID BTS promotion was aimed at preparing children to go back to school straight after the global pandemic.

Post Fiji is planning to have another Back to School promotion in a few weeks.
