Uluinayau and Rayasi to lead the NZ Fiji Schools 7s Team in the 2022 World Schools Sevens Tournament

Former Fiji 15s players, Alfred Uluinayau and Filipe Rayasi will be coaching the NZ Fiji Schools Sevens Team in the upcoming World Schools Sevens Tournament which will be held in January 2022.

The team is made up of Fijians who are attending schools in New Zealand.

The managers of the team are Jason McLennan and Bill Cavubati.

Koli Sewabu is also helping out.

They are all former Flying Fijians.

The selected players that will be representing the NZ Fiji Schools Sevens Team are Kami Ratuibau (Kelston Boys High School), Liam Boyd (Shirley Boys High School), Nick Saura (Nelson Boys High School), Netani Baleisomosomo (Nelson Boys High School), Waisake Salabiau (Rotorua Boys High School), Maloni Kunawave (Rotorua Boys High School), Gideon Lasaqa (Tauranga Boys High School), Josefa Namosimalua (Wanganui Collegiate), Robert Qalowasa (Howick College), Thomas Setitaia (Wesley College), Joeli Vinakadina (Timaru Boys High School), Isaiah Opai (Wellington College), Samuela Vakadula (New Plymouth Boys High School), Epeli Nalaqa (Wanganui Collegiate).

Junior Naborisi, Sirino Rova, Tavite Waqaliti Kotobalavu, David Kama, Bogidrau Kikau are also included in the wider training squad.
