Former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has officially retired from boxing.

The 36-year-old ends an illustrious career with a record of 34 wins, two defeats and one draw.

Fury last fought in December, where he lost his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk, the reigning WBA, WBC and WBO champion.

This marks the second time Fury has announced his retirement, having previously stepped away in April 2022 after defeating Dillian Whyte, only to return six months later.

The British heavyweight first shocked the boxing world in 2015 by defeating Wladimir Klitschko to claim the WBA , IBF, WBO, IBO,and The Ring heavyweight titles.

After spending more than two and a half years out of the ring to focus on his mental health, Fury made a remarkable comeback in 2018.

He regained championship status in 2020 by defeating Deontay Wilder to secure the WBC belt.

Fury says his journey has been an incredible experience filled with memorable moments.
