Two more people have died in New Zealand due to COVID-19 bringing the countries total to 4.
Both were older people who had underlying health conditions, and both were linked to existing Covid-19 clusters.
TV NZ reports that one was a man in his 80s who died at hospital in Wellington yesterday. He became ill on March 26 and was hospitalised on the 28th.
The other death was a man in his 70s who died at Burwood Hospital in Christchurch.
As with the woman in her 90s who died yesterday, the man was one of 20 residents transferred from Rosewood Rest home after a cluster formed at the aged care facility.
The total number of cases in New Zealand is 1519.
