Two World Cup winners combine with Gollings for 7s World Cup

2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens winners Viliame Satala and Sireli Bobo have combined with Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach, Ben Gollings to prepare the national side on the quest to win Fiji’s third Melrose Cup.

Gollings can still remember their semi final loss against Fiji where Waisale Serevi beat him to score the match winner.

With Satala and Bobo part of the coaching team, Gollings says this is a perfect support group that the players need especially hearing their experience on how they dealt with pressure in 2005.

Gollings adds that most of the current players grew up idolizing Satala and Bobo.

Fiji will begin their campaign in the Round of 16 against the winner of Wales and Korea at 4.05am Saturday.

If Fiji wins, they will qualify for the quarter-finals.
