Turuva scores hattrick as Panthers beat the Roosters 22-16

Vodafone Fiji Bati fullback Sunia Turuva scored a hattrick for the Penrith Panthers to secure their fourth win of the season as they defeated the Roosters 22-16 last night.

Turuva started the point-scoring in the 10th minute crossing for the first of his three tries before fullback Dylan Edwards crossed soon after to put the Panthers out to a 12-0 lead early.

The 21-year-old scored his second and third try in the second half.

Roosters tries came from Sitili Tupouniua, Brandon Smith and Daniel Tupou.

Meanwhile, the Rabbitohs will meet the Bulldogs at 5.05 this afternoon, the Broncos will take on the Cowboys at 9 tonight, the Dragons will face the Sea Eagles at 6.30pm tomorrow, and the Titans will play the Dolphins at 8.35pm tomorrow.
