Tritons Swimming Club dominates day 1 of LC Age Group National Swimming competition

The Tritons Swimming Club dominated day 1 of the LC Age Group National Swimming competition leading the medal tally for both the combined men and women and the men’s category.

In the combined category, the Tritons Swimming Club currently leads the medal tally with 29 gold, 32 silver and 14 bronze followed by the Barracuda Swim Club with 23 gold, 23 silver and 23 bronze while Orca Swim Club is currently in 3rd place with 22 gold, 9 silver and 8 bronze.

In the Men’s category, Tritons are leading with 24 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze, Barracuda is in second place with 8 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze and Great White Sharks Swimming Club is in third place with 4 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze.

In the women’s category, Orce Swim Club is currently leading with 20 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze, Barracuda is in second place with 15 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze and Tritons are in third place with 5 gold, 15 silver and 9 bronze.

Day 2 of the competition is currently underway at the Aquatic Swimming Centre in Suva.
