Tailevu Rugby aims to beat Nadi in their own backyard

The Tailevu Rugby side is heading down to Nadi this week with a single aim, and that is to beat Nadi on their home turf in the Skipper Cup competition.

The Tailevu Rugby Union says the boys have been preparing well for this week’s clash, and they hope that people from Tailevu residing in the west will come out in numbers to support them.

They thanked the villagers of Naisausau in Namara, Tailevu, for hosting the team this week and providing free WIFI so players stay connected with their parents, guardians, children, and loved ones, and this gesture reflects the spirit of vanua and unity.

Tailevu will face Nadi at Prince Charles Park at 3pm tomorrow.

In other Skipper Cup matches at 3pm tomorrow, Suva will take on Nadroga at Suva Grammar Grounds, Macuata will host Ba at Subrails Park in Labasa, while Lautoka will meet Malolo at Churchill Park.

Meanwhile, Vatukoula will challenge Naitasiri for the Farebrother Trophy at 3pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
