Easter will be extra special for Malakai Tuinasau Tadulala as his sleepless nights and perseverance paid off when he received his Master's by Research in Environmental Science during the FNU graduation at the Vodafone Arena today.

Tadulala was the only student graduate from this program.

He says receiving that piece of paper today is a testament to his hard work and the three years of sacrifice.

The father of two says all of this was made possible with the support of his parents, especially his father and his team of supervisors for their guidance and assistance throughout his thesis.

He has also secured a placement with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research from 2025 to 2028 to pursue a PhD in Engineering Science and Technology.

The 42-year-old is urging students not to give up on their dreams and to always put God first in everything they do.

Tadulala is currently working at FNU
