Tabuya to advance Fiji’s interest through stronger collaboration with the EU

Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Lynda Tabuya, has briefed the Ambassador of the European Union to Fiji, Sujiro Seam on the opportunities to advance Fiji’s interests through stronger collaboration.

Tabuya received a courtesy call by Seam and the team, they discussed the key priority areas including women's empowerment, gender equality, children's welfare, senior citizens, persons with disabilities and the vulnerable.

Seam says the European Union for the Pacific is willing to share best practices related to the work done by the Ministry.

Tabuya expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to meet with the Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Union for the Pacific and to discuss the issues, challenges and opportunities in the Ministry.
