TSLS to open Tuition Only Hardship Assistance Scheme tomorrow

The Tertiary Scholarships and Loans Service (TSLS) will open applications for Tuition Only Hardship Assistance Scholarship Scheme tomorrow, as approved in the 2023 –2024 National Budget.

TSLS CEO Dr. Hasmukh Lal says the intention of the scheme is to assist the private students with good quality pass rate and for the completion of the programme on time.

A total of 2600 awards are available for this Scheme for approved Higher Education Level 7 programs at an eligible Higher Education Institution.

To qualify for this scheme, TSLS students must be Fiji citizen, be a second year onward student with cumulative GPA equivalent to 65% of the total grade point, submit programme audit clearly indicating successful completion of one year of study as per full load requirement and not have a combined parental income or business net worth of more than $100,000 unless allowed by means testing.

The application for part time employment approval forms can be downloaded from TSLS website and submitted to hardshipassistance@tsls.com.fj.
