The intervention of the Television Match Official in the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua versus Brumbies game last week was frustrating as it slowed the game down.

Those are the comments of Fijian Drua Head Coach Mick Byrne who also says at the beginning of this season, there were a lot of gains when the TMO stepped in but in last week’s game, it took a little bit of a step back.

When asked on the referee's decisions in last week’s game, Byrne says enough comments have been made by other people and he is not going to take it up with the Super Rugby Pacific organizers any further.

He says what is just more frustrating is that the referee had to check with the TMO nearly every time the Drua scored a try.

Byrne adds the boys were on a roll and then it had to stop because the referee had to liaise with the TMO with some decisions and that is what frustrates him more.

He says they will now move on and turn their focus to this week’s game against the Chiefs in which they will try to improve on the areas they lacked against the Brumbies.

The Fijian Drua will take on the undefeated Chiefs at 7.05pm Friday.
