The Suva side has showed their dominance in winning the battle of the Cities after beating Lautoka 38-25 in their Round 2 Skipper Cup game at Bidesi Park.

This is Suva’s second win in as many rounds.

Suva captain, Mosese Naiova says they knew the team from the West plays a fast paced game and that kept them focused throughout the match.

Naiova says they have many new players this year, selected from club games in Suva.

He adds that today’s victory reflects strong teamwork and that the players are fully aware of their roles on the field.

In other results, the Suva Women’s side defeated Lautoka 43-26, while in the U20 match, Suva thrashed Lautoka 32-8.
