Suva couple charged for allegedly stealing 2 iPhones from diplomat

A Suva couple have been charged with theft after they allegedly stole 2 iPhones from a diplomat on Saturday morning.

Police say the 43-year-old man allegedly stole two iPhones from a bag of a diplomat in a Supermarket and passed it on to his wife.

They say they managed to arrest the couple yesterday from Nadera after viewing the footage from the supermarket’s CCTV.

They will be produced in the Suva Magistrate Court tomorrow.
