Suva braces for tough clash against Tailevu in Skipper Cup competition

The Suva rugby side is gearing up for a challenging encounter this weekend as they take on a determined Tailevu outfit in Round 5 of the Skipper Cup competition.

Suva Rugby Union Manager, Ulaiasi Butukoro says the management and players are not taking their opponents lightly, with Tailevu showing consistent form in recent weeks.

Butukoro highlighted that the Tailevu team has only lost one match in their last four outings, signaling their growing confidence and strength heading into the clash.

He adds that the Suva management believes the battle will be won up front, with discipline and composure under pressure expected to play a key role.

Fans can expect a fierce contest when the two traditional rivals meet, with both teams eager to make a strong statement in their Skipper Cup campaign.

Suva will take on Tailevu at 3pm this Saturday at the Suva Grammar Ground.

In other matches, Macuata will face Vatukoula, Malolo will take on Nadroga, Naitasiri will meet Lautoka and Nadi will play against Ba
